Join us for a time of freezer meal prep and fellowship! You will need to bring a cutting board, large bowl and knife in addition to the meat needed for three recipes. We will save you time by doing the shopping for the veggies, add-ins and spices.
Must sign up and PRE-PAY by March 31st so we can purchase ingredients.
We will be preparing 3 meals:
1. Mexican Chicken Chili
2. Creamy Ranch Chicken and Potatoes
Both of these dishes will go home into the freezer with all ingredients raw. Then you just get dumped into a crock pot to cook on the day you are ready to eat it. You will need about 3 pounds total of uncooked (frozen is fine) chicken breasts for these two meals.
3. Ready Made Enchiladas
All the ingredients are thoroughly cooked. Just pull from the freezer and get hot in the oven when you want eat them. You will need to bring about 1 1/2 pounds meat that is already cooked for this dish. You can choose whatever meat you like for the filling of the enchiladas. Ground beef (seasoned mildly as you like) is what is actually called for in the original recipe. But I have also made it with shredded beef roast or shredded meat from a rotisserie chicken or chicken breasts- all were good!
You may also adjust the meat quantities and bring more or less if you have light or big eaters in your home.
The recipes are all "standard" sized meaning they will likely feed 4-6 people. If you want to make a bigger double batch for a larger family size or to just have double meals in the freezer, you will need to let us know and pay twice.
We will provide freezer Ziploc bags for the meals to go home in. If you prefer a different container please bring it.
**None of these recipes are allergy free. If you would like the recipe so you can modify it for your allergy, please contact Erin Walsh
